Hey there — I’m Joshua Cho, a Korean-American pianist and composer based in Los Angeles.
I began my musical journey as a classical pianist, but over time, I felt a growing urge to bring the ideas in my head to life. That led me to teach myself composition. For me, creating music for film feels a lot like painting — adding colors to a blank canvas. The mood, tone, and story of a scene can completely shift depending on the musical colors you choose.
Since high school, I’ve been fortunate to work on a wide range of projects and collaborate with incredible artists — from arranging for 88Rising acts to scoring short films, documentaries, and composing for brands like Red Bull, UFC, Coca-Cola, Vita Coco, and others. I’m also proud to be an ambassador and creator for Spitfire Audio.
